Willy commenced his merchant banking career with the Nedbank Group in 1974 in corporate finance. He later became involved in project and structured finance and private equity. At the time of the merger of Nedcor Investment Bank, he was an executive director with responsibility for infrastructure, project and structured finance, private equity, and risk and legal. After 30 years' service with the Nedbank group, he is now consulting and advising in his personal capacity. Willy serves on the boards of a number of listed and unlisted companies.

Andrew Teixeira

Managing director

Andrew started his career in his own construction company. He then joined JHI Real Estate in 1993 in their property management division. He was appointed as the director responsible for property management nationally in 2002. Andrew has 15 years’ experience managing commercial, retail and industrial property. Andrew is a director of PFM, the management company of Capital Property Fund.

Rual started his career at KPMG in financial services auditing. In 2003 he joined Stanlib where he was involved in management reporting, accounting and system integration. He then joined a software development firm implementing reconciliation systems at Stanlib, before being employed by Resilient in 2005. Rual is the company secretary of Pangbourne Properties limited.

Rowland spent over 30 years with Old Mutual in the asset management business as an executive director, both in South Africa and a number of other African countries. He was an executive director of Old Mutual Properties.

Jose Jorge Goncalves (Jorge) da Costa

Jorge is a director of Improvon (Proprietary) Limited, successful developers of industrial properties in Gauteng.  Improvon developed numerous properties with highway exposure in Meadowdale Corporate Park, Linbro Park and Longmeadow.

Des spent most of his career with Nedbank Group, initially in Property Finance and later in Private Equity. Des is the managing director of Resilient Property Income Fund Limited and a director of Pangbourne Properties Limited and NEPI.

Andries de Lange

Andries spent four years with the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa (IDC) before joining Nedbank where he was involved in private equity and a number of equity and debt restructurings. Andries is a director of Resilient Property Income Fund Linited.

Protas Phili

Protas was previously the director in the corporate finance and transactions division of the Department of Public Enterprises. Within the division, he was involved in the restructuring process of state-owned enterprises, including Eskom, Transnet, SAA, Denel and PBMR. Protas is the financial director of April 27 Corporate Finance (Proprietary) Limited, a board member of Veterand Capital (Proprietary) Limited and serves on the national taxation committee of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Urbanus Johannes van der Walt (58)

Banus is the managing director of Sanlam Properties and was previously the managing director of Gensec Property Services for seven years. Banus has 38 years’ property experience with the Sanlam Group. He is an executive committee member of Sanlam Investment Management, the holding company of Sanlam Properties. He has travelled extensively to study the property industry, both locally and internationally. Banus is a past president of the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) and has been a non-executive director of Martprop, Acucap, SA Retail and iFour.

Tshiamo is a practising attorney, Conveyancer & Notary Public. She is a legal consultant to Gauteng Provincial Government and Department of Housing. She is also a member of the Housing Advisory Panel of North West Provincial Government, Department of Housing and has been in practice for 14 years.

Tracey has been involved in property for over 20 years, and has held various property-related positions at Stocks & Stocks and V&A Waterfront. Tracey was an asset manager with Old Mutual Properties (Proprietary) Limited prior to joining PFM.
